Why donate to the ANGLICO Association?

The ANGLICO (Air and Naval Gunfire Liaison Company) Association is organized and operated as a Non-Profit Tax-exempt Veterans Organization IAW 501 (c) (19) of the IRS code.

Our mission is to provide support, encouragement, and assistance to the active duty and reserve ANGLICO units of the United States Marine Corps. Of the six ANGLICO units in the US Marine Corps, three are active-duty and three are reserve; all participate in deployments around our planet. There are approximately seven hundred Marines, or one hundred thirty U.S. Marines in each ANGLICO unit.  When ANGLICO Marines deploy overseas, they are typically in teams of two to four, and proceed stealthily, without the comforts offered by a Base Exchange, Chaplain, Commissary, or medical facility. What is carried constitutes their comfort for the next seven to thirty or more days. The ANGLICO Association augments their deployments with shipments of toiletries, socks, books, phone cards, assistance to ANGLICO families, scholarships, unit morale building events, and postage when required.

Your donation also goes to support our website, which will serve as an archive of important documents and history of ANGLICO units; aid and assist ANGLICO Association members; and support our biennial reunions.

Future projects of the Association include a presence (plaque, bricks, or display) at the Marine Corps Museum in Quantico, Virginia, and a scholarship program.
